Renita Price

My Biography

I have been a proud resident of Baytown since 2015 and a Lakewood homeowner since 2016. I hold an Associate of Arts degree from Tarrant County College in Arlington, TX, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, and an Executive M.B.A. in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University.

After I built a successful 16-year career with Nursefinders and Nursecore, I moved with my husband to Baytown and am continuing my professional journey at Lee College. I currently serve as Program Manager for Work-Based Learning. In this role, I have the opportunity to help connect students with opportunities that prepare them for meaningful career success.

My commitment to service extends beyond my career. Before moving to Baytown, I served as Vice President of the Arlington Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and volunteered with organizations including Health Services of North Texas, Ronald McDonald House, Mission Arlington, Heavenly Track Club and participated in Arlington’s Neighborhood Academy for Civic Engagement.

I currently serve on the Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Council, contributing to community health initiatives, and as Vice President of the Lakewood Civic Association Board, where I work with residents to address community needs and improve quality of life. I also help organize Neighborhood Night Out and, in partnership with Hearts of Hands, coordinate the subdivision’s annual Holiday Food Drive Parade.

In addition, I participate in Baytown Engage Civic Academy, the Galveston Bay Foundation Oyster Gardening Program to help restore local waterways, and worked with GCCISD to keep school gates open on non-school days, ensuring community access to the park, track, and courts. I also collaborated with the City’s Emergency Management team and the Chief at the Baytown Fire Training Facility to coordinate a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training, equipping our subdivision with the skills to prepare for and respond to potential disasters.

I have years of experience as a volunteer deputy registrar, clerk, alternate judge, and presiding judge, helping ensure every eligible voice is heard.

A dedicated member of the Baytown Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., I serve as Chair of Community Partnerships. Through this role, I support the organization’s signature program, Top Teens of America, which provides young people with extracurricular support and opportunities for career and character development. I am also committed to advancing the chapter’s core objectives of improving the status of women, serving senior citizens, promoting community beautification, and strengthening community partnerships.

I have been married to Dr. Anthony Price for 43 years. We raised two daughters and are now blessed with a cherished grandson.

I look forward to serving on the Baytown City Council, District 3, bringing my professional experience and lifelong dedication to service to benefit all residents of Baytown.
